Tom Harvey Ltd Services Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") govern the provision of property maintenance services (the "Services") by Tom Harvey Ltd (the "Service Provider") to the client (the "Client").

1.2 By engaging the Services, the Client agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 The Services provided by the Service Provider (Tom Harvey Ltd) may include, but are not limited to, decorating, floor fitting, general repairs, plumbing, and any other property maintenance or refurbishment tasks agreed upon by both parties.

2.2 Any additional services requested by the Client beyond the initially agreed scope will be subject to a separate agreement and pricing.

3. Quotations and Pricing

3.1 The Service Provider (Tom Harvey Ltd) will provide the Client with a detailed quotation for the agreed-upon Services, including a breakdown of costs.

3.2 Prices are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of the quotation unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Any additional work requested by the Client that is not included in the original quotation will be subject to additional charges.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment for the Services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 In the case of larger projects, the Service Provider (Tom Harvey Ltd) may require a deposit before commencing work.

4.3 Late payment may result in additional charges and may affect the scheduling of future work.

4.4 In the case of larger projects, the Service Provider may request interim payments to ensure the successful completion of the job.

4.5 Interim payments will only be requested if the cash flow of the project exceeds initial projections, and an influx of funds is required to proceed.

5. Scheduling and Delays

5.1 The Service Provider will make every effort to complete the Services within the agreed-upon timeframe.

5.2 Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, or any other circumstances beyond the Service Provider's control, will not be the responsibility of the Service Provider.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1 The Client agrees to provide access to the property at the agreed-upon times for the provision of the Services.

6.2 The Client will ensure a safe working environment for the Service Provider and inform them of any hazards.

7. Quality Assurance

7.1 The Service Provider will perform the Services with due care and skill and in accordance with industry standards.

7.2 In the event of any defects or issues with the completed work, the Client shall notify the Service Provider within a reasonable time frame to allow for rectification.

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 The Service Provider (Tom Harvey) holds appropriate liability insurance for the Services provided. (You can Download your copy here)

8.2 The Client is responsible for ensuring that their property and possessions are adequately insured during the provision of the Services.

9. Termination

9.1 Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice if the other party breaches any material term of this Agreement.

9.2 Upon termination, the Client shall pay for any Services provided up to the date of termination.

10. Governing Law

10.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of www.gov.uk

By engaging the Services of Tom Harvey Ltd, the Client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
